I need to find a surgeon for post op follow up! Just got transferred!

Help! I just moved to Rockford Illinois and can't find a surgeon who will follow me post op. I cannot go to BTC because I did not have surgery there. I have been scrambling trying to find someone to follow me. Any ideas how to go about finding a new surgeon? I am afraid all surgeons are going to give me the same story. My original surgeon is over 12 hours away! I have had some post op issues and need someone close to home. Thanks for your input! RNY 111901-down 107. :)
