Is Dayquil or Nyquil okay post op?

Just curious...I'm heading to Texas from Oregon for my 20th reunion and low & behold...GUESS who is catching a nasty cold? Ticks me off...was curious if any of you post op patients have used Dayquil with no problems? Thanks ahead of time.
