Has anyone tried Luenell birth control shot? Did anyone exprience weight gain on it?

I am thinking about getting the Luenell (sp) birth control shot. I am 2 months post-op RNY. Has anyone had any experience with this good or bad? I was on Depo a while ago & gained a ton of weight on it. So I won't go back on that! Has anyone experienced any weight gain on Luenell at all? I don't want to do anything to jepordize my surgery. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
