Any suggestions on how to tame the terrible smell from gas?

I am a little under 2mos post-op RNY & just started noticing a bad odor to my gas & bowel movements. This doesn't happen all of the time just every once in a while. Is it something I'm eating? I don't notice it with anything in particular. What can I do to get rid of the smell? Other than a gas mask or room spray..LOL! Is there something I can take by mouth? I heard there was something at GNC that will help. Is this true?
