I can not enter the chat room - no matter how many times I try!

I have been trying for weeks at all hours of the day and night to enter the chat room and have been unable to get in. I use to frequent the room - now I can't get in at all. There is a little icon in the left top of the box where you would normally sign in (icon is the same you see on the web when a graphic is missing) and nothing else. My connection is through Broadband. Can someone please hep. Thanks. [email protected]
