Can anyone give feedback about how common it is for a postop leak?

I am still in the research phase of my WLS journey...I have an appointment next week with the surgeon, and have already been told that my surgery will be scheduled for mid-June if all goes okay. I have been reading so many things on the internet about leak tests, etc. and still don't fully understand what it all means. I would appreciate any info you all could give me. Thanks in advance.
