Has anyone been extremely hot pre op? Does it get better post op?

I have become extremely hot--perspiring at 70 degrees and sometimes even cooler. Is this because of the weight or could it be something else. I am on two high blood pressure meds that have kept my blood pressure under control. But I will never make it this summer if I am this hot now. I am pre-op and wondering if it will get better afterwards or not. Thanks
