I am having some pain elow rib cage and at bottom of sternum

I am 5 months post-op and within the past week I have had a constant, dull pain along my rib cage and at my sternum. If I press on my stomach at the top of my incision (just below my sternum it is tender. I have had some diarrhea (could be unrelated). Eating, drinking etc. don't seem to make the pain any better or worse. Any ideas what this may be? I DO NOT have a gallbladder.
