Why am I late?

I'm approximately 5 1/2 mos post op from a VBG and down 62 lbs which brings my weight to about 187. My period is 4 days late. Even before surgery when I was at my heaviest, I was like clock work. I got laid off in December (no big deal, I knew it was coming for like a year) and so I've been sitting at home relaxing, sleeping, blah blah and now this. I took 3 OTC pregnancy tests and all were negative. What could cause this? Could I be pregnant? Thanks for any help!!
