Oh no, how can I get my rings off?

I didn't think about taking off my rings until today. My surgery is the day after tomorrow. I have tried soap, lotion...and I can't get my rings past my knuckles. Any suggestions? I know I may have to get them cut, but I don't wanna if I don't hafta. Thanks!
