Are the Walk Away the Pounds tapes to be used with a treadmill?

I'm embarrassed to be asking this, but I've wondered for awhile...can someone who doesn't have a treadmill at home still get any use out of these tapes? If so, how does one walk in place?? I feel so stupid asking this that I won't even use my name lol.
