Does anyone have experience with hip replacment surgery AFTER RNY?

I am 2+ years post-op and have just been approved for hip replacement surgery. Does anyone have suggestions as to what my Orthapedist needs to know regarding my RNY? I know the obvious like my diet, but he didn't seem too concerned when I mentioned I had RNY and I am afraid he may not know anything about it. I will see him a couple of more times before surgery and would appreciate any suggestions anyone may have.
