Pain after filter insertion

My question never showed up so I am trying again. On Friday, I was supposed to have the Greenfield filter put in. What was supposed to be a 15 minute procedure took 2 hours. I ended up with a Trap Ease filter instead. I have had from moderate to severe pain underneath my right rib and also parellel on my back. I thought at first that I was feeling the filter but my surgeon said no. I have no breathing issues, just this weird pain. I can't lay down or the pain gets worse. What could this be? I have a ton of bruising on my neck (3 different holes) and on my arms from 3 IV attempts but no bruising where I hurt. It feels like a broken rib at times. If anyone had pain after their filter please contact me.
