Pain after filter placement

I was supposed to have a Greenfield filter put in yesterday but due to complications they put in a Trap Ease filter. I woke up from surgery very emotional because a fifteen minute procedure took two hours. I was holding back tears for a few hours. Anyway I started experiencing pain under my right breast, rib area and it spread to my side and back. The surgeon feels that this might be caused by the amount of time on the table. How long do you think this pain will last. yesterday it was an 8 today it is a 7. I would love to hear from all filter patients that had ANY complications. I have a lot of neck and chest bruising and one large bruise at one of the three IV sites. The worst of the pain is on my right side towards the back. I can't even lie down, I have to sleep sitting up.
