Throat spasms

I had lapband in 2009, lost 80lbs.  Kept it off until I started having throats spasms followed by coughing and loss of breath...this started 6yrs ago.  Removed my  all liquid from band, gained 30lbs back, I  had a throat scope done by my lapband dr and said everything was fine.  Still having them, also went to ENT dr bcuz I knew I had throat cancer, but no TG.  Have kept off 57lbs but want to lose 50 more but dont want spasms to get worse.  Should I ho to sleeve?  Not sure????????
