So happy for you and it's a great post too.  If you stay right on schedule your hair loss should stop now.  I started exactly at 3 months and stopped at 6 months practically to the day.  I believe there was a lot of it because it is exactly what I believed too...the mind is very powerful.

I'm so glad that you've been a part of our little family and I'll still never forget you posting about us in such a positive way on the main board.  Can't wait until you hit your one year!!
hugs, Y

I've been trying to respond to your post since you posted it!  I keep getting called away.  I just want you to know that I think what you did was phenomenal!!  I have used that same line about that if someone had told me that I would actually weigh the same thing for more than a year I would have bet BIG money against it.  Secondly I am super impressed because if I were to get on any roller coaster I would have a heart attack.

I am so glad that you proved yourself wrong and the next important thing is to remember that you felt this way OK?  Write it down in a journal or keep a calendar because eventually you will start looking for these moments and they will start to slow down but if you keep it fresh in your mind, you won't forget!

I'm soooooooooooo happy for you so keep them coming!!
hugs, Y

"Ingrid Bergman once said, "Happiness is good health and a bad memory." But without a good memory, good health may not even be possible. If your new goals and new habits aren't kept top of mind, you can sink back into those old routines without even realizing it."

Seeing your goals anywhere and everywhere will build momentum for weeks to come. The more you see it, the more you'll do it.

I can't believe it's been 6 months.    Below is a shortened version of my blog:

I'm getting so used to my sleeve I almost don't remember what it was like before.  Having a stomach that is the right size is a wonderful thing.  I feel 10 years younger (or more) after having lost over 60 pounds.  I can move with so much more agility.

It is wonderful to be able to continue to lose weight despite not denying myself regular foods like pizza from time to time.   I just eat so much less of the foods that added to my ridiculous weight gain that I can have some during the week and not sabotage my efforts to lose weight.  I make a protein shake mixed with 8 oz of skim milk. whey protein powder (usually vanilla) and some coffee  every day for breakfast .
Going out to eat has become less expensive.  I rarely order a meal but share with whoever I go out with - thanks friends.   .
Oh, and the hair loss started at 3 months out, now has lessened to about a 3rd or less of what is was initially.  If it weren't for the Toppik product another OH member told me about I would be really bummed.  With this stuff though I am successfully able to camoflage my pink scalp very well  - I hold a mirror over my head (I'm only 5'2") and look to see what a huge difference there is before and after I apply it!  I figure just about everyone is looking down on me.

Love my sleeve
Love this supportive, informative, always entertaining site.  Without this group I would have been lost.

Thanks Yvonne!  It just seemed like all of the efforts from March and April clicked in May.  I have myself this awesome support team and I am feeling very positive about this now, when really in March when I started out I was not sure I could really do it at all.   Now I am feeling even more positive since I can see inches coming off to due to exercises at the gym.  Thanks again!

Hugs,
Molly

Thanks Yvonne, It makes sense for sure and that is what I have resolve, I will never be 100 percent and that it will be something I struggle with.  I hate to say forever but I think it may be forever just like my journey is a work in progress and life style change that I have to stay constantly mindful of.  Thanks again!!
Hugs,
Molly
