Right click on the picture when you are viewing it and choose copy.  In your post you can choose paste.  So your first picture would be this one.

Topic: Look within for your answers.

Look within for your answers.

It is healthy to look within. To find peace and serenity, you must put pride and fear aside and take an honest look at yourself.

Find the courage and resolve to discover yourself. Find out what makes you tick. Find out how you sabotage yourself and why. Learn what really motivates you. Seeking fixes and answers outside of yourself can only take you so far. To achieve fulfillment, you must look within.

Action for the day: Spend five minutes today looking within. Sit quietly and breathe deeply. Ask yourself, "What is it that I need to find and acknowledge within myself to become healthy?"

Hope you have a wonderful trip.....I may make a last minute showing in Vegas myself...but did not realize the ASMBS would be there....the husband is off for a few days and has a case of wonderlust...florida is calling our names but we do tend to end up in Vegas for most of our last minute trips...I'll send you a text if I end up there....oh man I bet Vegas buffets are a think of the past for me...they do not have a "strategic 5 bite plan" price...lol

WOO HOO!!!!

Of course - you are excited and nervous...
this is surgery....
however- if you follow the plan that your surgeon outlines for you especially EARLY OUT!! you should have MINIMAL problems.

it's when we try to eat things Not on the list that we get into trouble!
sip sip sip
then chew chew chew

I'm almost a year out and eating close to MY NEW NORMAL!
better choices (most of the time) and a LOT less food than before.

nerves are normal....
they make you ASK questions! try to get decent answers from your surgical team at the doctors office.... local support.... start attending NOW if you haven't already.  My local support group has been a marvelous help.

Of course, we will always be here to cheer you!

Again CONGRATS!!!!

Thanks everyone!

I guess my fear deals with going through with a surgery which is basically "undoable"
I never want to say - why did i do this and ruin my life.  I want to say - I am so glad I did this for me!

guess I need to research more about the protein drinks! thanks for the help

WOO HOO How exciting for you!  Congrats on your surgery date and I'm sure you will meet your weight loss goal don't let that frustrate you.  Just remember why you are choosing this journey!

I've never used liquid calcium, I do Bariatric Advantage chewables and caplets from Walmart (equate Calcium Citrate+D).

I Have not used that specific protein but I believe that Muscle Milk makes a Lactose Free protein and there is a Soy protein out there. If you Google it you will find different choices!

Congrats again on your surgery date.  :)

Wooo Hooooo!!!!!!!!!  What are your fears?  I am sure that one of us has had the exact same one and can share.  I started at 292 and had made it to 275 when I met with the doctor for my pre op.  He tells me he wants me to loose another 10 lbs at least THEN he will schedule my surgery =-O.  I don't know how but I lost 11 lbs in just over a week.

I havent tried the liquid calcium but would like to hear reviews.

I may be wrong (yeah it really has happened before:-P) but isn't whey a milk based protein?
