Topic: Help needed on GRAZING. (snacking)
Today and the rest of this week and month, I am going to really work on not eating for 3 to 4 hours.  I ate breakfast at 9, so nothing in mouth other than water until noon minimum and 1 the latest.

I have to stop the grazing.  So that will be my next project.  To stop grazing.  I know this is sabotaging me, so I have to get it under control ASAP.  I am not aiming for perfection but I need to manage this better.

What have you done to stop grazing if you have had this issue?  Any tips and suggestions welcomed.  Thanks again for your continued support.

Thanks Yvonne! Your support means so much!!  I am going to be like you and so many others  one day in regards to reaching my intial goal weight!  Not this year but I am a work in progress.

You are so welcome on the participation.  But posting and reading other posts helps me stay on track and mindful of my goals.  It helps encourage me that I can do this if I keep my focus and keep posting and reading posts.  I try to get here everyday but nearly impossible.  But I am here enough to be encouraged.  Thanks again for encouragement!

Molly I am SO PROUD of you!! You faced what seemed an impossible thing...regain.  You faced it straight on and you made it what it should be.  Something entirely DOABLE.  You are such a wonderful contributor here and I appreciate each and every post.

I want to build this group and make it all that it should be so I'm working on some things.  I just want to tell you again how much I appreciate your participation.  I believe that we "glow" when we are feeling good and I think that's what your friend picked up on.  We start to feel good about ourselves and it shows.  Keep those NSV's coming girlfriend!

Kathy I have a similar story. I had a 60 pound 21 inch monitor that died sometime between me being fat and thin.  I picked up that monitor and moved it at least 2 or 3 times because I was so protective of it and didn't want anyone to break it.  When it finally died I went to pick it up and move it and I nearly killed myself.  I could NOT pick it up.  I was shocked....I picked it up at 260 pounds and couldn't when I weighed half that.  It did not make sense to me at all.  I was in total disbelief because I did it before!  Nothing in my mind prepared me for not picking it up.  It made absolutely no sense to me and it still doesn't. Why was I able to pick it up at my largest and could not anymore? I have no idea.  It's strange when you KNOW you can do something and you can't.  It is indeed a wonderful lesson.  I can't stress enough about not forgetting the little things...wanting to tie your shoes etc.  It's when we forget to be grateful for those things that we get in trouble.

Oh, Yvonne - I know just what you mean.  I went camping the other day at a campsite that doesn't have water, so I had to haul my own.  I have a drinksafe container that holds 7.5 gallons.  A gallon weighs 8.35 pounds, so my container, after I filled it, weighed around 60 pounds, and I had to carry it to my pickup!  I had to stop and rest - and 60 pounds is less than half of what I was carrying around 15 months ago!  I've lost 144 pounds - Man!  you'd think that obese people would be fit, just from hauling all that with them everywhere, but I'm fitter now than I've ever been in my life - and it's great!  The whole time I was carrying that container out from the house, I was thinking - remember this, Kathy!  Remember! Remember!
