Tony...

while no surgery is fun.. it sounds like you have a good game plan in place! Writing things down is sooo helpful. It keeps us honest.

and yes technology is much advanced over these 14 years... and YOU have improved your health tremendously. So while pre-surgery jitters are normal... keep trying to focus on all the positive things you have done for yourself!

Before you know it... you'll be out of surgery and on to recovery!!! and back on the road to fitness!

Take Care...

I went to see my dietitian last week to come up with a game plan for how to deal with the down time during surgery. My fear is getting bored while I am healing and getting back into the snacking. So I am going back and doing some of the things I did back when I got started like writing down everything I eat and planning out my meals and snacks. I am hoping with a plan in place, I can get through this without putting on any weight.

I am getting nervous about the surgery though, I had hip surgery about 14 years ago and it wasn't much fun. But I''m sure technology has improved, at least that is what I am telling myself.
