Way to go Molly!

I also have a gym membership but I have not gone it months.  My schedule has been so hectic that I am trying another tactic for the time being.  I have been dedicated to walking a minimum of 30 minutes at 3.2 mph.  So, I walked to church on Sunday (3.5 miles) and then played golf in the afternoon.  Yesterday at work, I walked to a lunch meeting (2 miles away) and tried to take the stairs when I can.  Once my like gets a bit less hectic I will be heading back to the gym.

Thanks for being such a great inspiration!!!!

Keep up the good work.

I feel honored to have a celebrity as a member of our group and grateful for your post!  For those that do not know, Lynnda is 1/2 half of the awesome TV  celebs at Bariatric TV.  Everyone that has not been to www.bariatrictv.com should go right away and catch up!  I recently ordered my Bariatric TV t-shirt and will be wearing it at the upcoming Houston Obesity Help Event.

Thanks Lynnda! You're awesome girl!

 Molly -
Thank you for this topic!  Timely for all of us especially with the Holiday Season fast approaching ... my goals for the next 2 months ... (how many of us will have similar goals ...lol!)

At 5 years post op with a 25 lb regain that is simply driving me to distraction .... and the end of this month being by 60th birthday .... I definitely have goals for the rest of this year ...

1) Getting off the carb/sugar craving cycle ...
2) Get BACK TO BASICS ....  Protein first ... veggies ... frui****ER WATER WATER ... oh, and exercise  ... do cha cha lessons count as exercise?
3) Lose 6 lbs a month ... (don't want to be unrealistic ... ) to get closer to my "best weight" (for me .. post op) of 135 ...
4) Get more control of my life .... which sometimes feels a little out of control ...

and lastly ...

5)  GIVE BACK TO THIS WONDERFUL WLS COMMUNITY .... FOR ALL I'VE RECEIVED FROM IT .

Never say never again - the headbattles never end.

Thanks for posting this, Yvonne!  The more places it is seen ~ the more word gets out and that means more opportunities for the WLSFA to help people in need.

It was an honor for BariatricTV.com to be able to capture this and share this with the community. Our only wish is that this can open the door for many more who share similar stories. And can help the WLSFA bring a chance at a new life to many more.

Mike and Toni Towe, my partners in crime over there at BariatricTV.com, were able to go to Sacramanto and help the WLSFA bring this to life.  Yeah Towes!

Congrats to Antonia for such a successful and engaging documentary.  Can't wait to see more!

Topic: What are your goals for the next 1 or 2 months?

I lost 5 pounds in September and I am feeling good about my journey!  Whoohoo!!  I am on my way and I have survived the summer and this is my season.  Fall is about new beginnings and here I am.  Losing inches and now it is time to crack down on my eating habits so I can reach my goal to be under 300 pounds by the end of March.  I only have 6 more months to go and it is hump time.  I have to keep telling myself to just do it!  What are your goals for October and/or November?  Please share!

My goals for October/November are:

1. Eliminating more carbs, eating more protein, and more clean eating and less processed foods.

2.
360+ minutes of exercise each week.

3. Lose 23 pounds by December 1st.-- SW361/GW338

4. Continue to work on night time grazing and weekend grazing.

5.  Getting more sleep in each night by going to bed at least an hour earlier most week nights.

I know the weight loss goals are challenging and aggressive but I feel I am ready to step up my pace and this is finally coming together for me mentally, physically and spiritually.  I am finally making some strides and I believe I can do it!
Everyone have a good month!!!

Thanks Yvonne!  It is so good having you in my corner and believing in me.  You know family things are very stressful for me and I think it is rubbing off on my sister too.  I had her throwing out cake.  I said if it is not worth the calories why are you keeping it.  Throw it out.  I tried to get her to throw out the fried chicken too and she was not doing it.  She is amazed at how I am just throwing food out if no one takes it home.  I do it in restaurants too.  It was a hard habit to break but I am never going to be the garbage disposal again. Have a good week and thanks again!

Hugs,
Molly
