Sorry Suzy, I've been out of town. The drinks are powder, they come in individual pouches and in a variety of fruit flavors. I get them form :Healthy Weight Supermarket" in Springfield Missouir. I am at work and for the life of me cannot remember the brand name. Healthy weight has a web site if you want to look it up. I will send you a couple to try before you invest in them if you would like. Let me know.
I am glad to hear you are feeling some better! Hang in there. (that quote cracks me up these days...like what choice do we have but to hang in there!)

Hello to all on OH..sorry I have not been on in awhile...things have been busy on my little part of the world. Today is a very special day for me..It is my one year surgiversary :) :) :) I am doing very well..no complications from surgery..B-12 is a little low but we are dealing with that. I was 386 pounds at my heaviest and last time I was weighed I was 238..so I am very happy with that..just over 100 pounds in a year seems amazing to me. Thank you all for your kind words and support this last year..this group means alot to me even though I am not here as often as I would like to be. Thank you Yvonne for being an awesome person and such a great friend to those of us that need you the most at the worst times. I pray you all have a blessed week..Hugs..Katie

I am 12 weeks out.  I had that weak dizzy feeling alot around week 8.  I would get up from sitting and feel light headed.   My surgeon specifically told me it was "definitely a need for more water".  I was getting 64 ounces a day.  They had me up it by another 16 ounces to 80 ounces a day and viola dizziness gone.  However I do still get tired by the end of the day!

Hi

I am only out 12 weeks now and my weight loss over the past month has been so slow!  I am wondering if it is because I do eat some carbs.  My calories are still under 1000.
For example - I have a protein shake at 7 am, then maybe 1 cup of plain oatmeal with splenda and raisins at 10 am, then I go to the gym.  Later at 2 my lunch is usually 1/2 cup cottage cheese or a 6 oz fage yogurt.  Then dinner is either 3 oz of protein or something. Then in evening I will have either apple crisp or a sugar free pudding for dessert.  So am I eating too much?

What is the recommended amount of carbs?
