Congratulations on your surgery date! I'm sure you will be so excited as you wait for this big day. make sure to take some really good 'before' pics so that a couple of weeks after your PS you can take some smokin' 'after' pics!!
I am 17 months out and am thinking I might get a PS consult sometime after the first of the year, but will need to self pay, so I'm not sure if/when I will do it.

Congratulations on your amazing results! Isn't Onederland (in the 100's) a GREAT place to be? I am so happy for you. I hope you took some pictures to memorialize the occasion. If so, post them so we can see the new you!
Also, I am so proud of the steps that you are taking to improve yourself and your future. Not only are you healthier now, but you are pursuing your education and working on self-improvement though your targeted readings etc that will only help to make your future much brighter and more successful. And, all that means that you will be in a better position to provide for your dear daughter. WAY TO GO!!
As for the skin and dating, I hope you come to realize that you should be patient and picky about men. Any man that is worth being with someone as outstanding as yourself needs to be attracted to the person INSIDE as much as outside and would never in a million years be concerned with some saggy skin. Honestly.
You are beautiful, important and deserve the BEST!

Topic: Introduction - Greetings from the Big Easy
Greetings to all the folks in this group. This is my first post on OH. I attended the Houston OH conference and was so lucky to meet Yvonne. I am a 17 month post op RNY from New Orleans. I have lost 146 pounds and am still losing, although much more slowly. I have been very lucky to have had no complications. I am interested in participating in a positive, informative, supportive, value-added forum so that we can all help each other achieve our goals.
I'm 46, married, with a 17 yr old son from my first marriage. I work for a large company as a process improvement consultant. I am very analytical, organized, logic-minded, positive and friendly. I hope to be able to share my experiences and knowledge with others, and hopefully benefit from others as well.
