I am one of the people that changed my avatar, sorry Yvonne and those that I just met since joining this wonderful group... I tried to make my avatar outrageous enough that it would still stand out!

I fully understand that anyone could have at anytime copied and pasted something I posted here in OH, but like so many others, putting the buttons there shares more than just a single post.

I very rarely posted on the other boards... I spent some time on the sex before and after WLS because I had some question, but the drama there was too much for me so that was very short lived.  Then, I posted on the Main Board one day about being upset that my surgeon said I can expect to lose 50% to 70% of my excess weight when I've seen others have lost so much more and I had a moment of "should I really do this?"  I was instantly flamed by DS patients and have been extremely careful about any posts since.

Anyway, it isn't that I am hiding my surgery from the world, but my facebook and my twitter account are separate from OH and I prefer it stay that way.  My surgery is a personal choice and doesn't need to be gossip material for the general population.  Just my opinion and eventually, I may feel differently about it... when I'm post-surgery and feel better about me.

So anyway, I chose to remove anything of a too personal nature.  I email privately with several fantastic folks I have met here on OH and now I am a member of this private and wonderful group!

Okay, I'm don't with my rambling.... ~laughing~

This is my son and he has terrible acne... but you can't tell after I finished with my post processing...

And this... one of my favorite things to do... turn a photo to black and white and then colorize parts of it... but here, I have difficulty with the hair!  grrrrrr

Here it is smaller as the larger image cropped off on the right...

Here's a photo of the moon that I took last night... not that it's graphic art, but I did turn it into monochrome, used a sharpening action and an adjustment layer to play with the brightness.

eEdited to add what I did to the photo.

Are you freakin' kidding me!  These are absolutely stunning!  I would kill, okay... maybe not kill, but close, to capture the bottom photo here.  Moody landscapes are my absolute favorite next to shooting wild animals and this is just beautiful and worthy of being framed as Fine Art.

Do you shoot in RAW?  If you do, I was just curious as to whether or not you tried doing any adjustments with the fill light slider.

Great Job, Yvonne!  As you already know, I am an amateur photographer.  I'm also a Photoshop junkie.  Oh, and a plug-in junkie and and action junkie...

Hair... hair is my nemesis and I absolutely HATE it.  It's right up there with the Pen Tool, which I'm sure I hate because I just can't seem to master it!  What do you use to segregate the hair?

I did my teething on Photoshop contests at worth 1000.  I always loved photography and Photoshop just seemed an extension of my photography.

Someday I'll have to share the graphics I did for the contests I entered.

Thanks for the lovely compliment, Miss Redd!

And as for both you and Yvonne, your photography/graphic arts shots are beautiful!  Each one has wonderful composition, and interplay of light and color.  They really are special!

Yvonne, I'll send you the full file from my home computer later on.  Thanks so much!

 Kathy!

Let God's presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom
to sing, dance, praise, and love.  It is there for each and every one of us.

Almost 6pm here on EST. phoned the Doctor's office around 4pm. I had not heard from them by 5.

then i remembered I think they close at 4:30 for some reason on thursdays.

Oh well... I'm just here hanging out at home... taking it easy... doing a little cookin' ... a little cleaning... a little laundry.. a little resting...

I'm really thinking I had dumping syndrome. I took my bp with my regular bp cuff and it looks better than with the wrist thingy.

Hopefully,I'll even be feeling better tomorrow...

trying to behave... I'm drinking a banana protein shake... Oh Yeah!
