I have made it an absolute rule in my life to never tell a friend whether or not they should stay or leave a realtionship, that is just to much responsibility!!! What I do like to ask them;  if your best friend were in this relationship, knowing exactly what you know about it, what would you tell her/him?? What would be your advice looking in?

IF you are worried ask them to do it again in a couple of weeks, honestly that is what I would probably do.

But occassionally they do get the wrong results Thanksgiving morning we get a call from the emergency room to come in, my dh had had a positive blood culture (he's on chemo) well it turns out that it was a false positive (thank the goddess!!!)  Trust me I know how anxious you are to have your surgery and start your life again!! I really do know, but be safe my friend ok. With all that said Congrats on being back on your journy!

Well, I've received good news... my PCP ordered more blood work.  One test was the serum cortisol AM (12 hour fasting) and the other was to test the ACTH levels.  I received the results yesterday, both tests came back within normal ranges!  So I'm totall vamped that I can move forward with my surgery again, but this also really bothers me...  Do I need to get a second opinion on any test that I have done?  I just don't understand how, in two weeks time, with no intervention, my cortisol level could go from 2.7 to 14.6!!  Should I not question it?  I asked my PCP and he said his guess was that it was just a fluke.

I guess I'm wondering if I should have it redone once more and take the best two our of three?  I just hate to have the second test be the one that was a fluke and we discover it AFTER surgery...

Wow - that's really significant.  Particularly noticeable - the absence of that other chin!  You look great!

Until a few days ago I had a squirrel for an avatar, probably because I really never thought I was much to look at. Well I still not pretty but I am much thinner.

I had problems with this; though it was far worse when I'd lay down.  The moment my head hit the pillow, I'd feel like I was on a roller coaster.

It resolved itself, but mine was benign paroxysmal position vertigo.

Do you suffer from low blood pressure, as this could also be the cause.

Has anyone had this done?

My ob/gyn is hoping this will alleviate some of the anemia issues I'm having; but I'm nervous.

I know no NSAID's post-op, and to ask for another form of pain reliever; but I was wondering if there are any other considerations to express to my doc before surgery.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.
