I can't believe I didn't take a picture!!!! I was so busy trying to save it's life and was in awe of the beauty of this bird.  It was unreal.  I was a little surprised that he/she tried to bite me but I was saying "bite me sweetie, go right ahead because that means you're not hurt too badly".  Wow...what a beautiful beautiful bird.  I'd be happy to feed anything.  Speaking of that I was rather surprised at how aggressive raccoons are!  That's a whole 'nother story!

A friend whose on line name is "wonderling" (if I remember correctly without checking) posted a discussion topic on this forum and just joined the site herself.  Everyone who is listed as "a friend" who starts a discussion has this message listed when I go to the "My OH" page. I go there every day to see what the folks I am familiar with are talking about.  I saw her posting, clicked on it, read it and tried to respond.  Then the notice showed up about needing to "join the site".   That is how I learned there was this separate forum.

I do live by a lake.  The largest lake in the world and it is called "Lake Superior".  I am in Duluth Minnesota.

Topic: RE: Fake it
I have had a lifetime of faking it and now I am doing something so good for myself that I want each day to be real. I will not hide anymore. I will learn to love myself. I am so blessed to have this opportunity and I will not waste a day of it.

I feel so good today. I am counting the hours now instead of the days. I am so ready. I have packed and unpacked. I have added things and taken them back out. I want to take everything that will fit in my small suitcase. Others say I will have no need for the things I want to bring. I am planning on racing around the nurses station wearing my IPOD. My suitcase by the way is a little girls and is a bright blue and is covered with colorful butterflies.

Once I was a caterpillar and I felt lost and afraid so I decided to make a cocoon. There I could hide and not be hurt or judged. In my cocoon I felt safe but I was not free to be the true me. Monday this caterpillar will emerge as a beautiful butterfly and live in the open sunshine and go from one beautiful flower to another tasting the nectar of life, each day a gift to hold.

I am GREEN with ENVY!

I absolutely love Cedar Waxwings! Their name is so fitting since they look they have been dipped in wax! If they sat still long enough you might think they were candles!

I've had chickadees eat from my hand and ....a rather large ugly buzzard but never... a beautiful Cedar Waxwing.

Yes.. I said an ugly buzzard ate from my hand... your eyes are not playing games with you!!!

Welcome Wonder, Welcome!! I am so glad you joined.  I felt exactly the same way.  I think there is also some Nutritional Misinformation going on, on the main board as well.

I will be sending you well wishes on Monday, and looking forward to hearing from you.

I will be 3 years out next saturday.  Now I can hardly remember the 'before' time, and everyday I am so thankful I chose this and stuck with it.
