Oh Diana, you make me want to cry.  You know what I did? I made one of those construction paper chain link things with a link for each day.  It was bright red paper and I tore one off every morning with the excitement of a kid waiting for Santa Claus.  My attitude was exactly like yours.  I swore that if I was just given one more chance to be in the driver's seat that I would NOT mess it up.  I have kept that promise and part of the reason that I've been able to is because I am so intent on paying it forward.  When I am here sharing my experience with others it keeps me out of my head and when I'm out of my head I'm not stressing and wanting to self medicate with food.  I'm so glad you found us!!  I think if someone looked at my iPod they'd think it must belong to several people!  I'm a classical Cellist but I like hard rock too and a lot in between.  I love Celtic music when I do yoga.  I can't wait to see you on the other side Diana.  I'm sending big cyber hugs.

Anne you know when we place our happiness on anything on the outside we only set ourselves up for disappointment.  I call it going "straight to happy" instead of thinking that you need anything to "make" yourself happy.  I know so many that think that losing weight is the golden ticket to perfect happiness but it is not. Life is always life.  I would however rather deal with my problems or whatever life throws at me at my current weight than the one I was previously.  My attitude of gratitude makes a huge difference in my general outlook.  I am so grateful to be out of my prison of obesity that I count my blessings every day.

Wonderling-WELCOME!!!! And you just keep right on being POSITIVE and EXCITED!!!! And stay off that Main Board, Sweetie--just come HERE, when you need info and encouragement. Will your journey be pain free and all fairy farts and rainbows??? Of course not-it's LIFE CHANGING surgery...and you WANT your life to change--right???? But it won't be all gloom, doom, dumping and tofu either. It's a VERY exciting journey, and we're proud to be able to share it with you.

Well my darling...that's because I have a handy dandy book called "BIRDS" with lots and lots of pictures.  And here's one from the web except the breast part was very yellow.  The little red tips on the wings and the yellow on the tail was phenomenal!
