Topic: RE: Events - I'm trying something and California OH Event
I can see Suzy's surgery as an event, so it must work.....?  I didn't RSVP, because it just seemed like you wanted to know if I could see/access the posted event.

Wish I were closer to some of the OH events.  No such luck.  Montana is soooo far off the beaten path!

Let God's presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom
to sing, dance, praise, and love.  It is there for each and every one of us.

I skimmed thru some of the post and changing up the exercise is what worked for me the best for getting thru a plateau.  Mixing up what you do if you are not and changing the intensity also.  Interval training is wonderful for fooling your body also.  If you go to gym talk with some of the trainers or people who work there to give you some ideas.  But whatever you are doing mix it up and the weight will start to move down again.  Another thing you may want to try is increasing time of cardio and upping and changing your stenght training.  Another thing I recommend is doing something cardio on those other 2 or 3 days you don't work out.  All of this should help!  Keep us posted and keep up the good work! You can do it!!

Topic: Positive Thoughts and Prayers---Please!
I had my lump removed on Wednesday.   The initial report has stated that it is benign.  We are just waiting on the final report, and praying it reads the same.   I am still sore and tired, but recovering without too much effort.

I had a rough weekend otherwise, which where the prayers and positive thoughts come in.

My grandfather passed away 5.5 years ago while I was pregnant with my youngest daughter.  My grandmother needed something to occupy her time, and I needed a babysitter so i could go back to work.   When Georgia was born, she started watching her and has ever sense.   My granny has been falling a lot and I haven't gotten worried about her falling while Georgia was.  My mom lives with her, so I knew someone would be there.  In the past two weeks, she has fallen twice.  She has 5 broken ribs and messed up her arm so bad she has to have surgery to repair it.   However, she now has pneumonia and is in the hospital progressively getting worse.    Apparently, a stint she had put in years ago is now causing probelms.   Her body and mind are shutting down.   They are not sure that she will be able to come back home.   I am not sure how to handle all of this, and I am not sure how Georgia will handle it.   She misses her granny and has only been a way for a few days.

I think I mentioned before some of the issues that my husband and i have been having.   I have been going to a new church and I love it.    We just compeleted a bible study on the Love Dare.  I had to write a commitment letter and marriage vows to him as part of the last two dares.  I did so very prayerfully.  Last night, he told me that i was part of a cult and that the letter was just an attempt to get me to convert him.    No where in it, did I mention the new church or ask him to change.

I have been crying a lot since yesterday and I am not sure where else to go with all of this information.

Yep those are the Omega chewy bits.  It's great stuff for a number of reasons...it's just not coming to me right now.  The link to the chewable calcium was down but it's the creamy lemon stuff and it's AWESOME!!!! Calcium is once a day.

I took Biotin and Zinc for hair.  It can't hurt but I know keeping your protein where it needs to be is really important.  I don't have good numbers on the amount of biotin and zinc because there's no hard rule on whether they work.  I do believe in taking it because like I said, it won't hurt.

oh boy... can I identify with this....

I think all of us can!

lately I've been bouncing up down
UP down UP...

ok now i'm waiting for the DOWN...

This week I'm up 3.5 pounds from last Sunday! it's crazy... but I think I'm beginning to figure out what's going on....

As I have gotten closer to goal... 15 pounds... I've given myself a lot more leeway... less journalling of what foods I've been taking in.
That wasn't a conscious choice... just have gotten busy with other pressing matters.

Also.... as to the more leeway... treats... have crept in..
"oh I can have that... just a little won't hurt...."

Ok... well a little won't hurt... IF it really is only a little...
Once in a while....

NOT DAILY!

So.... starting in the am... back to the gym.... back to a more closely monitored intake of both fluids & FUEL!

ah... and that is it.... FOOD IS FUEL!!!

Food is fuel not what to do when bored, tired, stressed, etc, etc.

So... it comes down to this...

WE KNOW WHAT WE NEED TO DO...

NOW WE HAVE TO DO IT!

may each and every one of us find our inner strenght to get past these challenges and move in the direction of our goals!
