I would be happy to help!  You can email me the pictures and I can put them in one photo.  I can do several version so you can pick.  I can do a reflection like thing where it shows both shots...so many ideas.  All you have to do is to get someone to take your picture in the same setting and get it to me in email.  It doesn't even have to be a great picture.  How does that sound??

Greetings my Dear WPPA Family

While tecnically this is an OT question in way it's not really. Had I Not had the surgery, I would Not be doing this.

My dad has always been into photography, he even developed his own pictures.  I have some pictures of me that I actually remember him and I taking, so I am planning to recreate them as well as possible. Same clothes, same poses, I even have the chair I was sitting in.  There are two that I am going to do. So here is my question. Does anyone have any ideas on a format that I can do it in? My dad is blind now (due to a plane crash) he does have some limited vision in one eye so I need to make it easy for him to make out, not to busy of a background or border.

I know Yvonne is a photographer (in fact I wish by the Gods you were closer so I could commision you to do this!!) and I beleive we have other photographers in our WPPA family so any ideas I would Love to hear.

I'm not going anywhere!  I'll be here rooting for you.  I just had an icky week.  Not sure what the problem was - but I think I am coming out of it.  Got my period..wonder if that has anything to do with anything?  AND today I feel like I am coming down with something - nose is all runny and head feels awful!

I think I should have titled it differently on the main Board to get more readers ....LOL  And JE you are so right this gives us an opportunity to care for our OWN healh, something in the last few years I've become an avid proponent of.

PS Give me some good titles and I'll repost it on the main board .....C'mon it'll be fun. ^_^*

Topic: NIPHS

I posted this on the Main Board, but I wanted to share here as well.  My Mom is very freaked by my hypoglycemia (she's an rn) so she's been doing a "little research" bless her heart, I am hoping to keep it under control by diet, but it is good to know there are other solutions if necessary.

Be Well My WPPA Friends

NIPHS

Mayo Clinic physicians have recognized and reported on a seemingly rare but serious complication following gastric bypass called NIPHS (non-insulinoma pancreatogenous hypoglycemia syndrome) or post-bariatric surgery hypoglycemia. After a person eats, this condition can result in very low blood sugar levels that lead to severe neurologic symptoms, including visual disturbances, confusion and (rarely) seizures.

Mayo physicians in Minnesota have evaluated and treated several patients with NIPHS. When medical and diet therapies do not work, surgical removal of part of the pancreas has resulted in marked improvement of symptoms for most patients. If the symptoms described above occur, patients should notify their physician immediately. Until this condition is controlled, patients should avoid driving motorized vehicles or performing tasks that could affect the safety of those around them.

Topic: RE: What are your goals this week?

My goals for this week are:
5-6 shakes a day
Gym 3 + times this week.

I am pre-op and need to lose 20 pounds and I am down a few - but I need to show real progress in a week and a half.  I am so nervous that I will weigh in the same!!
(This past week I fell off the liquid diet wagon - big time. )
