I have been an Avid Label reader for many years now. First as a vegetarian looking for animal products, then later as I became even more health aware, looking for ingedients that I did not want. I will first say a lot of the anger I direct at myself for doing a half-assed job at reading labels.
So everyday for many years, I have been inadvertenly been ingesting, cellulose, polyvinyl alcohol, glucose gelatin, fish, and Maltodextrin. In what you might ask. These are in my daily multivitamin. While I've always checked what vitamins are in my multivitamins, however, I've never thought about checking the "ingredients", "other ingredients", and "inactive ingredients". Like I said I do direct most of my anger at myself, but I do question why these companies need to add corn starch, glucose, sucrose, and maltodextin to multivitamins, and Mannitol and maltodextrin to Vitamin B-50 (b-complex).
I thought I would share this in case any other label readers haven't thought about reading ALL their labels. :-/
