What are the 20 Things you Love About Losing your weight

 Got asked this question this morning and thought I would share.   1.     Having a stronger relationship with God. 2.     I am not ashamed to tell people my weight. 3.     Being real enough to tell others about my WL Surgery and my WL program. 4.     Fitting in my husband’s arms when he hugs me. 5.     How proud my husband, family and friends are of what I have accomplished. 6.     Feeling so much healthier, stronger, happier. 7.     Feeling better than I have ever felt in my life. 8.     Being able to share my experience, strength and hope with others on their WL journey. 9.     Enjoying riding my bike, walking and working out. 10. How much better I sleep. 11. Being able to take a bath again. 12. Fitting into a chair or the seat of an airplane without filling like I am sitting in my neighbors lap. 13. Crossing my legs. 14. Wearing a skirt above the knee. 15. Climbing stairs without being out of breath. 16. Realizing I can fit in a size 6. 17. All the clothes that are available and having a selection; instead of buying clothes to hide my weight in the “Women’s Department". 18. Being able to get out of a chair in a restaurant, without people having to get up to let me out. 19. Getting improved cholesterol and triglycerides numbers from my medical checkup. 20. Being able to tie my shoes without having to put my foot on a chair to do it.

Well I am still in the process - only down 65 pounds with 90 to go!  But lets see if I can come up with a few things I love:

I love going through my closet and tossing all the size 22's, 20's, 18's and soon the 16's will be going out the door.  Makes me feel organized!

I love looking at myself sideways in a mirror - boy my stomach looks alot flatter!  woohoo

Crossing my legs is easier.

I like not being able to binge eat - cause if I do I will puke my guts out.

I like leaving food on my plate or throwing food away.  I like knowing "i dont want anymore".

At least those are a start!  I just made 14 weeks and hope I keep losing.  :)
