WLS Success-through Powerful Positive Attitudes
Harbor hope.
Daily Inspiration for September 15, 2010
Harbor hope.
So what do you do when you stumble? Do you shake your head in self-disgust and say to yourself, "Well, what else is new? I always screw up. What's the point?" Or do you humbly acknowledge the fact that you are a flawed human being (like everyone else on the planet) and vow to do better next time?
If you "slam" yourself too much, you'll lose hope for the future. Hope is your heart's way of pushing you to try more, accomplish more, and be more. Don't extinguish that spark.
Action for the day: Reflect on the most recent misstep you made in your WLS lifestyle. Determine what lesson can be learned from it, forgive yourself for it, and then move on.

Also... I love your balloon monitoring your progress...
This is sooooo OFF TOPIC....
It made me think of the Adirondack Balloon Festival that should be coming up soon. I have ALWAYS wanted to go... and I always hear about it AFTER it is over. So... now I can go and find out WHEN it will be held this year and see if I can go up there and see it in person!!!!
After many years... I learned that "Americade" (a motorcycle event) is held the weekend of our anniversary- so we no longer go to my favorite restaurant up in Lake George that weekend. I enjoy seeing all the motorcycles- unfortunately my hubby HATES them. ah well....
as for the balloon festival... it will probably rain or I will be out of town for some project... lol
