This is a question I must ask... ARE YOU? Are you bored?

Well then my friends... jump in.
Yvonne has tried to make it clear that while this board is positive it is certainly ok to bring up topics that concern- to share our challenges as well as our victories.

The negativity... & name calling are what is missing.

so please... if you enjoy READING ... stop in once in a while and SAY HELLO!


all TBones asked was for you to respond with a "HERE" like a roll call in school. Is that really tooo much to ask?


as for me... I'm tired and heading to bed early... I have a busy day tomorrow I'll be here again sunday... i hope you drop in while I'm away.

Yes, get on and share!  I absolutely agree.  Sometimes I can only get on once a week, but I love hearing people share.

You are a wonderful example of WLS success.

At times I wonder if some who are more ... what do I want to say... um...
reserved... perhaps.  Perhaps, they feel that IF they start to post here... they must be as open about their surgery as those that post here regularly. Or as active as you... a WLS CHAMPION! 




SO MEMBERS.... let me assure YOU....
THAT just isn't the case... No one has to reveal more personal information than they wish to share. I understand many people are very protective- and generally not as open in even their REAL lives.
THAT is FINE. THAT is their choice.

As for me... I could never see myself running all over the country in support of WLS as Yvonne and many other wonderful WLS spokespeople do. But... I can speak out here on this and other forums about the benefits that I have enjoyed.

I can speak out at the local support group- when I am able to go- which isn't with any regularity.

All that some of the more regular people would like to see from the rest of the membership is an ...

This site- this forum - isn't an ego trip for Yvonne.. ya know...

She did it for ALL of us. So many of us were distressed at the bitterness and vitriol that so many times erupts on the main forum.
