You might remember I made a trip to vegas with my husband in Febuary and we called it my goodbye to the fat girl trip.  With much encouragment from all of you, I gave myself permission to be myself and not worry about still being fat....it was one of our best trips ever.  I even wore a black dress with rhinstones and sequins and felt awesome.

Well, today....my goodbye to the fat girl dress is going to a new home along with all of the other clothes that are so big they fall off of me or just make me look like a clown....it is hard to get rid of somethings because I really like them and becuase I spent a lot on them....B UT....I have been just eating as I can becuase of how busy I am and still losing despite not putting a huge effoert into it....so, I really believe I am not going back there.....and I have a freind who can use them at this point in her journey.....WIN-WIN!!!!

I gave away some favorites as well, but I am enjoying looking at clothes again. In the past I was just trying to find something that would fit. It covered me was the only criteria. Now I shop differently. I use the thrifty shopper in town alot and get nice pre-owned clothes at a discount. You cant beat that.

Congrats on your accomplishments!!!!!!

Congrats!

I do remember your Feb trip! You had been quite anxious about it- well look at you now girl!  Woo Hoo!

It's true getting rid of clothes that were meaningful in some way is tough but hanging on to clothes that are hanging off of us doesn't make sense.

My only suggestion is IF it really is a FAV and can be taken in by a tailor and the FABRIC is worth the trouble - then go for it!

Otherwise, pass it along like you are doing.

post some photos ok???

Way to go girlfriend!!!!  Congrats on knowing your clothes are too big.  So many hang on and wear them and can't "see" their clothes are too big.  I also had some pain letting go of some suits that I had because they were expensive but I also realized that I wanted them gone forever.  I will say this about not going back....do believe and also make sure to fight like a crazy woman if you start any regain. Again...a little effort every day will keep you out of trouble.  I'm so happy for you!! I remember you going to Vegas and it seemed like yesterday.  Happy happy joy joy!!!!!!
hugs, Y

Oh, sweetheart - here's what I've discovered - there's a whole world of clothing for you to make NEW memories in.  It just gets better and better!  Let it go and move on to the next mountaintop!  Congrats on your continuing success!

Let God's presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom
to sing, dance, praise, and love.  It is there for each and every one of us.
