Hi, my name is Roxie (thinner56), I thought I was a member of this group because I have been receiving info from Yvonne, but I don't think I'm an official member as yet.  I have been reading posts and I'm so impressed and encouraged.  I am one year out(May 5, 2009) and I want to learn sooo much!!! I'm really looking forward to becoming a real part of this wonderful group

Hi Yvonne, Thank you so much for the recognition of my 1st Surgiversary!!  I feel alot different now than one year ago....physically and mentally.  I must admit that I struggle with the fear of gaining back because that has always been my pattern, but I know that I must have "faith" in myself and my tool to keep me from gaining.  I draw alot of strength from the support group and I will definitely continue using it to help me along my journey.  I love to learn new things and I look forward to reading the posts and all the great info online.  Thank you for your welcome!!

Welcome Roxie.  I notice your staring point and goal are similar to mine.  Always nice to find a fellow "short person" - of course that is just a guess based on your tracker.
I hope I do as well as you have!  Thanks for being here.

Hi Gina, Thanks for the welcome!!! Wow, 8 years out, I bet you are just full of great advice and info.  You will have to tell me how you have kept off your weight, because that is a real fear to me.  Looking forward to posting with you.

                              Welcome Roxie!

I can tell you, you will LOVE this group.  Many of us who were nearly chased away by the negativity of the Main Board have found solace, comfort and friendship, and education here.  I read a couple of your other posts and boy can I relate to the fear of regaining.  I am having my own issues with that, so just know you're Not Alone. Again Welcome Roxie. We are So Glad you're here.
