CosmicFlower on the other side!!

I heard from CosmicFlower's fiancee and she's safely on the other side....all the way in South Africa.  I'm so impressed with both of them... the fact that they speak another language entirely and write and speak English so very well.  At any rate it was cool being an angel all the way from South Africa.

Thank you all for the encouragement!  I'm back... and I'm alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   That's all that counts!
My surgeon is very pleased with my progress. I'm still not feeling good... in A LOT of pain, and the periods that I have to sit up, I feel very drowsy.  I'll update more on my profile in a couple of days when I feel stonger.

Hi, CosmicFlower, I had my RNY on May 5, 2009, and wait until you see what a year can bring!!!!  I wish you all the good luck possible on your new journey.  I tried to go on your profile, but I could not get thru, but I can remember how I felt one year ago and I can relate to the A LOT of pain!!  Let me tell you some good news though......you won't remember any of that pain a little ways down this road.  What you will remember is why you made the wise choice of having wls.  Everything is going to start getting easier for you as each day goes by,especially when the weight starts to drop away.  I hope that you feel stronger every day, and just know that it's all worth it!!!!    Best Wishes to You!
