oh exactly... it was more like a Jackhammer working on my palm.
therefore- the need for the LONG Heavy leather glove!
Those talons could also do a nasty number on your arm if you weren't wearing it!
But it was terrific. I've always been impressed by people who have hawks that they use for getting game birds. Just amazing that a wild bird will fly back to a person.
(here it is sunday am again so i'm off to update my progress - I'm getting closer to goal.... bit by bit...)
