It is very hard not wanting the weight to just drop off like it did in honeymoon stage right after my surgery six years ago.? I am doing OK on grazing, exercise and NO fast foods.? Scale not moving for me this week but that is OK because last week I had a huge weight loss.? As long as I know I am not eating any fast foods and staying within my calorie range, I will be patient.? As long as scale is not moving upwards, I am

You go girl.  Just know that I am holding your hand through cyber space.  Yes, just be patient because your body is going to fight you on this.  Good for you on no fast foods!! Get that protein in first.  Are you making sure to eat/drink something for breakfast??   Also if you actually plan exactly what you're going to eat for the day it will cut down on the grazing completely.  Just remind yourself that the momentary pleasure you get from eating something you shouldn't will only last a little while and then it's followed by beating yourself up.  We slide into that shame area then and that's just poison for our soul.  Molly you are beautiful and you should continue to concentrate on the incredible job you've done.  That truly makes a difference.  I'm soooooooo glad you're here.
hugs, Y

Molly, I think you are a very brave woman. It takes alot of guts to get on the boards and talk about your struggles. I don't know that I could be so tough to do so. It is hard to put yourself out there like that..so KUDOS to you!!! I am still in the honeymoon phase of my journey..and I am struggling with the grazing some days and the fast food thing is hard because I have small girls *****ally want a happy meal every once in awhile. But yesterday I stood strong and when I went out to dinner with a girlfriend I ordered a small steak instead of fried fish like I really wanted..and was proud of my decision. Even us newbies have our bad days. I am proud of your decision to get on this site and let us help encourage and motivate you while you step back onto that scale. Please keep posting and if you have days where you feel like you can't..believe me you can..because you already have!! Big Hugs..Katie
