New Date - April 19, 2010

So I get a call from Clara, the insurance guru at the surgeon's office today.  BCN is not going to put any bit of rush on my appeal process, so there goes my March 31 surgery date.  Actually I am good with that, because honestly I don't feel well prepared.  I need to get my vitamins in order and line up some protein drinks plus a whole bunch of other stuff - and the thought of it all just overwhelms me.  So I think maybe it was meant to be this way.  Now I have time to get my ducks in a row.


***of course I still don't really believe it's going to happen since I am not actually approved.  Clara says there's no reason for me not to be - that EVERYTHING they want is there (BCN).  But I won't believe it til I hear the word APPROVED!!!!!!  Sigh.

Its a step in the right direction. Things happen for a reason and now you can get prepared so you are mentally ready for this journey.You WILL be approved.
April is a great time

And just think the weather will be warmer so you wont freeze so much like us winter surgery people.  I was told that after surgery you are cold more.......I am still trying to thaw out. Last year when my husband had his I was teasing him and said "Oh suck it up. You cant be that cold" Well pay backs are a ***** He keeps reminding me every time I grab a blanket. LOL

Hmm....that would actually be nice to be cold for a change.  I am almost ALWAYS hot and sweating.  If that humidity is up - no matter how cold it is - I feel it and it sucks!!!   LOL.

Ok I will be approved, I will be approved.  I'll just keep repeating that over and over in my head!!  Thanks!!

This cat and mouse, chess game business stinks....doesn't it........

I was told by insurance yestarday (I called them to check up on the drs office) and was told I was  approved.   So, I called and left ANOTHER "multiple" voice message.  The letter I got says that the insurance does cover the procedure but they may not cover the cost due to a long list of reasons....so who knows?????  Wonder how many weeks it will take to get that call returned???

So....I'm not gonna believe it either....twin Sigh....

I'm crossing everything I've got but I know you'll be announcing it soon!!!  And yes it happens when it's supposed to and I can't wait to hear!!!!!!!!!!!
