I think it's real...I have a surgery date!

It's all becoming so real now!  The Dr. said as long as my ulcer in my esophagus was healing he would keep my March 30th date.  I had my endoscopy and he said its healing!!! YAY!!  He did a biopsy and said as long as it comes back negative then we're on.  Pre-op diet starts Tuesday! I can NOT believe its really happening!!  Best thing of all...my BFF Krysti is getting her RNY the day before so we're hoping to be roomies in the hospital...how amazing is that???

I hope you continue to heal and don't have to have your surgery postponed... looking good for now... so keep it positive! 

 In case you were wondering....this is actually the pre-op cleansing drink you two are clinking!

LOL JEllen..that pre-op stuff is so dang gross the glass wouldn't have helped mine! But it was worth every drop..lol

OH MY GOD! The miracles just keep coming.  That's my surgiversary date!  On your surgery day I will be celebrating 9 years.  Krysti on the 29th, you on the 30th and Suzy on the 31st.  WOW!!!!

WOW...oh my goodness it puts tears in my eyes!!! Im so excited for all of you ladies here on the board getting ready to have your surgery. I can totally understand your excitement about your friend baby as my DH had surgery 3 weeks after me. We wanted them the same week and Dr said no..so this was as soon as we could. I will put you all on my prayer list for wonderful and safe surgeries..Be Blessed

Thanks so much for all the thoughts and prayers!  I talked to the surgeon today and he said the biopsy looked good and we're on for the 30th!!!!  YAYYYYYYY!!!!!  I start my pro-op diet on Tuesday!!  whoopwhoop!!

Woo Hoo - sorry I am a bit late in posting ....Congrats!!!!  That would be so awesome if you will share a room with Krysti!!!!!!
