Let this be a warning to you.... these 2 photos are scary!
I tried to load more but for some reason things stopped working temporarily. I will try to add "morning of surgery photo" later today.

LOL...  Good for you for uploading them!  It was really helpful for me to publically face my morbid obesity before weight loss surgery.  When i look back now 9only seven months ago) I cannot believe I was that fat.  I will use my pictures as a reminder!

Chris... you are right about those FAT photos being a reminder! YIKES!

But really I wasn't trying to hide anything that I had been... I just didn't know HOW to upload these photos. If I don't do it often I forget how i went about it... You should have seen me trying to put together a photo book (these past 2 days).

The photos i put together were from LAST year when we helped some friends rebuild their house after it was burned to the ground last winter. I documented the entire build project but hadn't put anything together.. then "shutterfly" was offering an 8x8 inch photo book for FREE- coupon expires on March 10!  so I stayed up till after 1am last night and had to go back today for another long stay at the computer to get it done!

If I only had a 10 yr old in the house to help me..... lol
I could have also had my before photos up a looooong time ago....

Hey, did you end up getting it for free? I did the same thing and they said my coupon didn't count so I bought it anyway.  I've made several of those books and they look great!  The main thing to look out on those books is where all the text is available.  You may not realize sometimes that you can type in info in some areas unless you look closely.  What a nice thing for you to do!

fine print...

well... free sorta... You know they always get you with S & H.

that was about $8. and change..

When I first started to put in the photos I didn't notice that the page that popped up to insert them on wasn't the size book in the FREE OFFER... so besides not having my correct Password- the offer wasn't valid because I had posted them into a size 7x9 book instead of the 8x8 page format!

So after I had gotten some sleep... and started over with my project I noticed the spot where I could change the size of the book. and Voila!
Free book...

except Shipping & Handling....

Still 8bucks a whole lot better than $30+

Also-- I did find the text spots... chose not to use them on every page... most of those photos speak for themselves...

I hope it comes out as nicely as I think it should...

I have a photo on the cover. a Beautiful spring sky with a birch tree in bud with one of the branches pointing at the moon.
the first page has A single photo of the burned remains of their house...
the next page starts at 5am on a spring morning before everyone arrives to work. Mostly closeup photos of friends of all trades working on framing up house. some photos of her flower beds that survived.
and photos of a certain "little tenant" that lived on their property NEVER having paid any rent and totally unaffected by the event..

I'll see if i can post a few of them in a new album on my profile for you to see...
