Hi everyone,
I have been busy on my local OH list and have neglected this one greatly ..sorry   Life has been wonderful.   No complications, no regrets, and shopping is becoming something enjoy rather than loathe.

Summary:

I was 6 months out at the end of Jan, have gone from a size 22 / 3X to a 14/16 bottom and a XL top (the girls are not cooperating on the weight loss front and still remain - way out front)

My labs have all been good but I do have to add B6 to my regime.
Hair is starting to come back, I get about 100 grams of protein each day and consume approx. 800 calories each day.
My weight loss has been slower than I would have wished  but I am down over 85 pounds and have enough energy to make the bunny jealous.

People are starting to tell me it is time to quite losing now but I still have approx 40 pounds to go for my surgeons goal and 60 for my goal (which is likely not going to happen)

Starting to explore the world of plastics....and having fun in my new/old body.

Have a great weekend everyone

It's OK, I've missed you sooooooooooo much!!

If you've ever read anything I've wrote about this you know I've said that people will tell you that it's time to quit losing but don't worry because it's just because you look so different.  Take pictures and look at them.  I told my dad that I wear a medium top! I'm not in extra small.

Now....one thing I'm going to get on you about.  If you want 60 more off, you do it!!  If you say "which is not likely going to happen" that's what will happen.  You have to invite and believe in the possibility!  Here's my post about expectations that I wrote some time ago.

http://bariatricgirl.blogspot.com/2008/08/unrealistic-expect ations-is-that-fair.html

If you tell yourself you can't do something, you will do things subconsciously to assure it.  So miss momforthree I want you to see that number with 60 pounds off and think it every time you step on that scale and say to yourself "I will see it" (because Yvonne believes in me)  I remember loving 128 in college for the 2 years I starved myself to death and if I had listened to all those that said "you'll never be able to get there again...after all you're old" then I wouldn't have.  I've maintained at 130 forever!! If I can do it, so can you.

When they tell you to stop losing just say either "OK" and go on or explain if you wish that this happens to everyone and they just don't realize your actual body size.  Of course there might be some that are a little jealous too.  You never know but it's your body girlfriend and you can do it!
So glad to see you again.
hugs, Y

Thanks Yvonne.   I am going to shoot for the 135 marker   Dr said 155 but  I know that I loved being 135 when I was there.   Thanks for the kick in the butt.
