Endometrial Ablation [x-post]

Has anyone had this done?

My ob/gyn is hoping this will alleviate some of the anemia issues I'm having; but I'm nervous.

I know no NSAID's post-op, and to ask for another form of pain reliever; but I was wondering if there are any other considerations to express to my doc before surgery.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi gorgeous girl!

I don't have any good information-but I saw your post and wanted to drive by and send a HUG!!

I don't know if you are still in touch with your Bari-surgeon. If so-it wouldn't hurt to put in a call for a "just in-case information" thing.

I hope things get worked out for you!!

Peace,
T

Thanks T, I seriously needed that hug!!!

I have no idea why, but I've been having little panic attacks this week.  I wasn't even this nervous about my RNY.

I *know* it's completely silly, its an outpatient procedure for crying out loud; and it is exactly what I -wanted- my doc to do.  I guess my hormones are just all over the place.

I TOTALLY hear you on that. There are certain things that FREAK me out more than others. Girl issues are one of them. Not sure why-but for sure I get MORE anxious about them ..then say..my actual WLS! LOL!

When is your outpatient date??

How are you doing today?

I found this website-it's by a lady that felt there was very little info and support on the web. Not sure if you can use it-

Hope all is well. I am heading to bed shortly. I have some favorite jammies and hubby and I are listening to "The lovely bones" audio book. It has become our tradition to get a new audio book each week to listen to at bed time!!

Hugs and hang in there!

Peace,
T
