Good Grief now what? I broke out in a little sweat and felt dizzy like I was going to pass out. So bad... that I unlocked the front door in case I decided to call 911. sat down in my recliner for a little bit and feel better. My blood pressure is quite low....

oh stinking thing.... the batteries in my blood pressure cuff need replacing.... ok I'll take care of that then redo..

but that doesn't explain my feeling like I'm almost ready to pass out.

Actually I did eat some shrimp and a small piece of fish earlier probably about 3oz total. later i had some cereal w/ skim milk... but i threw half of that out because it tasted to sweet to me.

took my bp again after changing the batteries - still on the low side but I feel a lot better.

maybe I'll my protein shake and see if that helps...  don't really feel like i want to eat solid food right now...

hmmm... i had cramps in my ankle and left foot before maybe I'm low on potassium... and I'm all out of bananas.... sheesh....

Sweetie, please call your doc and ask OK?  I'm worried about you.  Just don't hesitate to call them and please let me know how you're doing...gotta go to do some little dental stuff and will be back a bit later.

Thanks I will do that. I took my bp again this noon and it still seems a little low but I feel much better.
I think I may have had MILD dumping syndrome. and IF that was mild I don't ever care to see what a severe case of dumping syndrome is.

but I will call the doctor and see what he recommends... and I'll get back to you. I appreciate your concern.

In the meantime, I also have to go out to work for a few hours.
oops.. Update... no work today.. my case doesn't want me to come because the weather turned nasty - snow with some ice.

while I would drive in just about anything.. she would worry too much so I'm staying home...

Almost 6pm here on EST. phoned the Doctor's office around 4pm. I had not heard from them by 5.

then i remembered I think they close at 4:30 for some reason on thursdays.

Oh well... I'm just here hanging out at home... taking it easy... doing a little cookin' ... a little cleaning... a little laundry.. a little resting...

I'm really thinking I had dumping syndrome. I took my bp with my regular bp cuff and it looks better than with the wrist thingy.

Hopefully,I'll even be feeling better tomorrow...

trying to behave... I'm drinking a banana protein shake... Oh Yeah!

When I dump, my heart races - that's the first sign.  I can usually head off worse problems if I stop eating whatever I'm starting to dump on.  It happens that quickly.  But early on, I had no idea what was going on, and pretty soon, I'd also be yawning, then needing to go lie down, sleeping like a rock, then the worst was having a bad case of diarrhea.  That last only happened once.  But the whole experience is a little scary.  That racing heart is enough to keep me away from all that carb-y food.  It isn't even tempting when I know what will happen to me physically.

So, anyway, I read back through what you originally wrote, and it does sound a bit dump-y.  Do you know what you ate?  If you know, and you know how you react to it, it will be no problem to avoid it in the future!  I hope you're feeling better today!

Hey there-

How are you feeling?  I was curious have you been checking your blood sugars?  I started having low blood sugar problems after surgery which occurred right after my one year mark.

I break out in a very nasty sweat, light headed, want to pass out, no energy etc..

I'd be happy to chat with you about it some more if you would like.

Hope you feel better.

Let me know!!  :)
