Yes, the avatar is from "Avatar".  I have seen most of it on the net, but there was about 30 minutes of the movie left when it just stopped!  I've heard a lot happens after the tree gets destroyed.... I am dying to see it in 3D and what I saw I absolutely loved.  I think it is one of my favorite all time movies.  And the message it sends is wonderful!

Yes you HAVE to see it in 3D.  HAVE TO.  Especially as an artist.  To see the flecks of light in the jungle n the illumnated things. It will take your breath away.  Please let me know when you see it OK?  Go as soon as you can OK???  It IS my favorite movie of all time.

We have no iMAX theaters around here, so I'm hoping it gets made into 3D on the DVD when it comes out.  I'll have to get some of those 3D glasses!  I promise I'll let you know when I see it!  You get me so excited, I catch YOUR energy!  ~laughing~

Oh boy...  some of mine are pathetic compared to yours, but I too was totally addicted to Worth... was actually being groomed to be a judge and you are right, it was soooooooo political that I just stopped!  That and I was so addicted to it!!

Here are a few...

And if you feel this is inappropriate, feel free to let me know and I will delete it, but this was just cracked me right up.  The first one I did was disqualified and I was asked to redo it...  The theme of the contest was to create an ad that failed...

This contest was for misplacing a landmark...

This one was colorizing a black and white...

~laughing~  This one was for Create a Greeting Card for a new holiday...

Had to turn a celebrity into Manga... I chose Kirsten Dunst

Okay, stopping now... but I have a bunch of them on my flickr site... http://www.flickr.com/ny-rain if anyone wants to see more!

OK, first lesson and this applies to weight loss surgery and our thinking.  I'm sure you've heard me talk about removing guilt/blame/shame/judgment from your thinking.  Here's your first lesson if I may be so bold.  Your work is not pathetic.  It is an awesome representation of your creative work.  It is unique and beautiful like you.  You were even being groomed to be a judge!  That's no small feat.  I think the first image is hilarious.  The truth being that I would be more disturbed about you calling your art, your expression of beauty anything but phenomenal.  Bad impressions, bad words attract that right into our life and when others read this link they will be affected by your words and attach that to your art too.  Again, art is in the eye of the beholder and if you like it or I like it, it is beautiful.  You are extremely talented and I want you to remember that...each person has their talent and you've certainly got yours.  I hope you don't think I am being too harsh on you but it hurts me to hear you say something unkind about something so gorgeous.  Get it?  This is part of our lifestyle change....to be positive and look for the good.  Leave the ugly things behind because they cause us to veer off course and it's important to keep our eyes on the prize.  Even if Sally draws what she calls an ugly stick figure, it is Sally's stick figure and a beautiful stick figure it is because it is drawn by the beautiful person that is Sally.  The world of art is a beautiful place and when it comes from the heart of a person, it is still beautiful.  So my darling, no more or those emotions listed above when it can be helped OK?  As we replace the old tapes, we start functioning like the total highly evolved beings we are and we leave that old thinking behind.  The further out we get, the easier it gets and that's when you will stop hurting yourself by eating when you shouldn't or eating things you shouldn't eat.  It is so important to start to love yourself and respect yourself so that you love and respect your surgery.
OK my beautiful lady??

Yes ma'am!  I hear what you are saying and I understand what you are saying and I know I have to change the way I view myself.  That seems to be much easier said than done for me.  I am truly hoping that I will gain self-esteem as I lose weight!

Thanks for the gentle reminder and thanks for being you.

You woman all have such a wonder God given gift. I thoroughly enjoyed viewing these photographs.

I had a fun thing come about last night. My daughter takes voice lessons (she takes after her mother ;)  and her voice teacher asked if I would like to sing a duet with her and perform possibly at the next concert!!!! I haven't sang in ages so I'm really excited!!

I have asthma as well as fibrosing mediastinites which is a mass which is connected to my superior vena cava (sp) and when it was growing it pushed into my windpipe. I cough up crap throughout the day and then the asthma sometimes flares up. So with this I quit singing for church. But like I said, this is real exciting for me and a way for me to possibly get back into singing and sharing my gift from God with others.

Later!

OH Sharon, how wonderful.  I know that If I had a daughter, I couldn't imagine what it would be like to sing together and mesh the voices of a daughter that was given birth by you.  I would so love to hear it.  Is there any way someone could video the performance or even record it so we could hear it?  The closest I could come to that was that my niece plays viola and I play cello and I wrote something we could play together for my mom before she passed away.  I hope you will feel great inspiration sharing your God given gift wth the other God given gift of your life...your daughter.  Wonderful news! Please keep us posted.
