WLS Success-through Powerful Positive Attitudes
One week out! :)
Hi everyone!
Sorry I haven't come here more often.
My surgery was last week, Jan, 7th and I am feeling great. I had no complications and no pain at all, just a little discomfort and that was all (my gall bladder surgery two years ago was much, much worse!). Today I started with pureed food and I had for lunch 1/2 cup of blended turkey with cottage cheese. It was very good.
I haven't stepped on a scale yet. I'm not a scale freak. The day before the surgery I was at 231 lb. I think I'll step on the scale tomorrow, saturday is a good day that every week I can weigh.
I'll try to come more often!
Cheers!

Congratulations on your brand new tummy!!! Its so exciting to be a post op and knowing that your on your way to being a slimmer and trimmer new you. What a great way to start off the new year by doing something so wonderful for yourself. I am so glad your complication and pain free...that is awesome. Keep up the sipping and take good care of yourself..welcome to the "losers" club! Katie
Hey Gordinha!! It's so exciting that we've got someone from the Netherlands!! How cool!! And even better, no complications and no pain! WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
No need to be a scale freak this early in the game. I always say to wait until you get to maintenance phase until you start the serious scale stuff.
You get some rest and visit us when you can! So very glad you made it to the other side!
hugs, Y
