Merry Christmas Everyone

Merry Christmas everyone. Since my surgery two months ago I have had to work so much I haven't been able to spend much time on the OH website or any web site for that matter.

I am doing great since surgery I have lost 47 pounds since surgery and when you put that with my pre-op diet I have lost a total of 85 pounds. I am over half way to skinny now. And I am having a blast. I can do things now that most people have always taken for granted. the other day I realized that I could sit in a chair and bend straight down and tie my shoes. I have never been able to do that until now. Skinny people think I am crazy. The other day I was explaining to a couple of our contractors why until now I always wore polo shirts instead of dress shirts. Before I lost the weight my neck and chins were so big that they would press down on the collar of a dress shirt and the collars would point straight out (which looks sort of silly).

The only problem I have is now I love to shop for clothes. I know i am a guy and guys are not supposed to like to shop but until now the only way to get clothes was to order them on line or go to the big and tall store. Now I can go in a regular store. My wife likes to refer to my shopping as my new addiction (she's joking). Luckily I like to hunt for a good deal. My best deal lately was a pair of $60 pair of IZOD pants for 2.79, and a $36.00 polo shirt for 1.99 at JC Penny.

Sorry that I am just going on but I am just about the happiest guy around. Again everyone have a Merry Christmas.

I am soooooooooooooo proud of you!!!!  I especially love that you appreciate the little things like tying your shoes.  Don't forget that!!  It is so important to not forget where you came from.  So often we get accustomed to our new body and start to take it for granted.  Keep this post somewhere handy so when you get a few years down the road you can read it.

I LOVE that you like to shop and I LOVE that you told us that.  I think you've done some incredible bargain finding and I want to see pictures!  Isn't it great to not have to buy your clothes online?  When someone asks me what size I was, I didn't know as far as women's sizes.  I wore men's 4X shirts.
