Welcome Diana!! We are here to help. I'd particularly like to hook you up with Monica who is our band star among others.
Right now you are going through a type of withdrawal. We are so used to using food to self medicate our pain, our stress, our fear, wanting to numb our feelings and right now you're probably feeling a little irritable, restless and discontent. This will pass. Try to distract yourself with things you like to do. Rest, sleep if you can. Read, read, read about others stories but be careful and stay away from the "nasties" OK? This place is a safe haven so ask any questions you'd like. We've got people from all walks of life and different surgeries and different amounts of years experience. Consider us your new family and there are no dumb questions AT ALL. Just stay away from bad self talk and try to replace it with positive reinforcement OK? Is there anything in particular that is bothering you right now.... try to not worry into the future because right now is all we have. So ask away sweetie, we are here for you!
