It's official- I'm turning into a CAT!

Here I am only 1 month out and I'm starting to SHED!

First time I noticed it was this morning when I was scrunching some mousse in my hair! There must have been 20 hairs stuck on my fingers!
Thankfully- my hair is starting out Super thick- because if it was falling out at this rate with thin hair I'd be in trouble!

thankfully- I know this is a temporary condition- I just didn't expect it to start this early out.  Most folks said they noticed their hair loss between 3months- 6months out.  Oh well that's the way the hair falls!

Ha- just thought of something... the regrowth will probably come in WHITE! I've been plucking a few WHITE hairs from my eyebrows for ages now... well as I told my dear old 106yr old lady in the nursing home.... Well at least your hair isn't BLUE!

Judy you TOTALLY amaze me.  Your attitude is AWESOME!!!!  YOU are going to succeed at this journey.  And yes it is temporary.  In the beginning I was so worried about it because my hair was the only good thing I had but I figured out that if I had to I'd wear a wig!  That didn't happen.  My hair is still fairly long.  It's all good!!!

You are so funny and really awesome.  I'm so happy you found us!
hugs, Y

Awww... thanks... I really appreciate all the encouragement that I get... so I just like to TRY to be positive and see the brighter side of things.

It isn't easy all the time, as you know, when you run into people that are so negative or when you're having an OFF DAY.. but in the end it's much better to be positive.

The old me.... "Ok you want me to be positive....
I'm positive this isn't going to work!"  lol

For now... I'm just hoping that you are right- that I will be successful..
it seems like 2 steps forward.. one back. But- perhaps that is part of the process as well.   I'm off to the doc in the morning for a follow-up visit. WISH they would record my morning weight from MY SCALE!

oh well....

I'm positive this isn't going to work? Positively!

the quote that I really like is one that Volfan has in his signature.. If i can remember it correctly...

looked up and corrected quote:

"It's never too late to be the person you might have been" ...
George Eliot

LOL ---from Kathy, who's grateful to L'Oreal for her particular shade!!

(And I hear what you're saying about thick hair - I have a ton!)

Let God's presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom
to sing, dance, praise, and love.  It is there for each and every one of us.

Kathy - I'm good with thinning hair......as long as I don't wind up looking like my dear ol Dad...
with more hair in his ears & nose & eyebrows than on top of his head!

Once I told him that is how you know if a guy is an Old Gezer....
their hair has slipped down into their ears & nose!
