Woke up because of another Thunder & Lightening Storm....

Good am people! well- another day in Monsoon country! What a weird summer. I thought that this would be my last summer melting in the Heat. but so far we haven't had a 90 degree day since April.

today is supposed to get up to 88 & humid- that will be bad enough for me! but I'm feeling like I'm going to start growing Mold! its been so wet around here. 2 days without rain is a long stretch!

Speaking of long stretches..... this am on the local news they showed a clip of the 8th race over at Saratoga and the weirdest thing happened. the lead jockey wa**** in the face by a low-flying seagull which then flipped back and hit the second jockey in the face as well.  somehow they didn't have a major pile up! The horses just kept on going! I Hate to see it when those horses crash and have to be put down, so i'm glad that didn't happen.

Well, I'm still fighting the timing on trying to get my am pills, water and breakfast in. someday I may succeed at this. It's just with my sleep pattern of afternoon naps- (not scheduled- just fall asleep in my chair) I'm so awake later that I'm up until 12- 1am. then I don't get up early enough to start with my pills & water... everything seems like a vicious cycle at this point. However, I am losing weight and I feel good so I shouldn't complain. Just need to figure out some way of not taking such a long evening nap i guess. maybe set a timer???

any way-- i hope everyone has a pleasant day and look forward to hearing from you LURKERS anytime you want to jump in!

JEllen,
Hi! and I am sooo glad things are going well for you and still losing weight is always a PLUS!  But WHAT is this rain that you speak of??  lol Our forecasts for the PAST several weeks AND this week are HIGHS in the 100's-101's.  Now, I wouldnt move to save my life, BUT this constant heat is driving me crazy! lol  I hate that I have to tell my boys "NO, they cannot go and play basketball at noon for 2 hours."  My 15 yr old is a fitness freak and wants to "jog" everyday.  I have had to set timers on his phone and he only goes in the evenings after 700pm.

Anyhoos, was having issues w/ eating for past several days.  Was having major stuck issues and waking up coughing and spitting up.  Figured out that I STILL cannot eat bread and I should just give up for good!  I seriously think that is what got me sooo sick.  What's sad is that it was the tiniest pieces of bread. I think I learned, NO wait, I KNOW I learned my lesson.  I am 1 yr and 9 months out and I still CANNOT eat bread or tortillas.  I guess I better get used to the idea that I just may never have them again...

Ok, I rambled.  It's just because my co-worker is on vacay and I have NO one to speak with. lol

Take care and have a GREAT afternoon!

I did not know your cute big boy was a fitness freak.  How cute.  He better practice running because he's gonna need it to run from the girls!

I sowwwry you got sick.  i guess I hexed you early on the bread didn't I?  I love your attitude.  I feel like a proud mother!  Thank you for being in my life because watching you grow into the beautiful soul that was always there is the best present anyone could ask for.
I love you Monica...

Yep, Monica's hoping you send her some rain.  And I'm glad the horses didn't get hurt either.  I can't deal with that stuff AT ALL.  The moment they replay any of that stuff, I have to look away.  If I could get over this part of me it sure would be less painful.  Progress...not perfection right?  And that's what you're doing too!  Enjoy those naps girlfriend.

I'm soooooooo glad you're here and we get a couple of members almost every day so jump in guys...I promise we don't bite.
hugs, Y
