WLS Success-through Powerful Positive Attitudes
I really do not feel like I had surgery.
Okay, so I had RNY July 30, was allowed to travel back to Canada on August 3,
August 4 my daycare kiddies were back and I took them on a field trip for appox. 4 hours and then on Friday we went on an all day excursion, I walked at least a mile that day. I have had no pain since surgery, no trouble sipping, eating small portions, or swallowing pills.....I am beginning to think perhaps I did not have surgery at all???
It seems odd that everyone who posts is having trouble with one thing or other and other than being a smidge more tired, I am able to do all things. What's up with that?
Not complaining by anymeans, feel very blessed actually but it seems so weird.

Nope, Nope, Nope, NO complaining here. And I have our very own Group Leader Ms. Yvonne here to vouch for me. :-)
I too had NO complications, NO pain, NO gas, NOTHING. I tell everyone that I woke up in recovery like I had just had a really good nap. I was up and walking about an hour after recovery. Yvonne and the rest of RYD said I had color in my cheeks when I came into my room.
So yep, consider yourself VERY blessed. My good friend who just had surgery on Thursday, woke up to pain and today still feels pretty crappy. But I LOVE her attitude, she said, "I know its only going to get better." I told her of course it would and when u SEE ur weightloss, you won't be able to wipe the smiles from ur face.
Congratulations on a very uneventful surgery. Take care.

U tell me that I sin,
U say Im bound for hell,
So once ur judgment condemns U,
I SHALL SEE U THERE.
I'd rather be an OPEN sinner
than a FALSE saint...
AWESOME!!! Like Monica said, we were right there and I've got video of her walking right after surgery like it was nothing. Do not push yourself though...I'm kinda thinking your positive energy is one of the reasons you are ready to go. I am so happy for you. You didn't corner yourself into thinking it would be bad so you believed in the possibility of the good and you got it girl!
